We understand that attending a church service for the first time can feel intimidating. Uncertainty about what to wear, the culture of the space, or even when to stand or sit can create a surprising amount of hesitation. At TLC, you can expect a genuinely welcoming community, engaging and meaningful worship, compelling preaching rooted in Scripture, and a real opportunity to encounter God. You will leave encouraged, and perhaps even challenged in a meaningful way.


To help ease any questions or concerns you may have, we've created a first-time visitor's guide to help you navigate your first visit to TLC with confidence.

  • 1. What are your weekend services like?

    Each weekend at TLC Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music. A multimedia large-screen presentation help you make the most of the practical and relevant message. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled Sunday School.  Click for service times and directions.    

  • 2. What will happen when I visit for the first time?

    If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.   

  • 3. What do I wear to attend your services?

    You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Sunday Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because TLC is not about what you look like or what you wear.

  • 5. What about my children?

    At TLC your children are a top priority. Our Sunday school classes are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children's ministry called H2O Kids as well as life-changing ministry to students from junior high through college.

  • 6. How can I meet others and get connected?

    There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Church 101 Transformation Class. Small groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith. 

       

  • 7. How can I be disciple and grow?

    Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Transformation Class Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to your involvement in life-changing ministry, we will lead you step-by-step from healing to growth and into leadership.  

  • 8. Why do you have small groups?

    Small groups are an important part of TLC Church; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our small groups called Hotspots. Hotspots allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. 

  • 9. How can I get involved in a small group?
